Viggson Sailing is a small, family-run company founded by two brothers from a tiny fishing village in East Iceland.

We grew up surrounded by the sea, raised by generations of fishermen and boatbuilders who taught us everything we know about life on the water. Sailing isn’t just a job for us, it’s a way of life, and one we love sharing with others.

After spending years working as professional fishermen, we wanted to offer something different: small, personal sailing experiences that allow visitors to explore the incredible beauty of Iceland’s coast, at a slower, more meaningful pace.

Whether you're watching whales surface beside the boat, listening to seabirds echo off the cliffs, or simply soaking in the stillness of the fjords, our trips are all about connecting with nature, the ocean, and Iceland’s maritime heritage.
